What exactly do I offer? |
Congratulations and thank you for taking the time to check out Baby Dreams Maternity Concierge! I am extremely passionate about supporting, educating and advocating for women and their birthing rights. I love being able to witness the transformation in a woman to becoming a mother and helping to to see her power in that beautiful transition.
I began my journey in birth support and advocacy after the birth of my oldest child. I had an emergency cesarean birth and began questioning why did this happen to me. Prior to giving birth, I was researching information about services and classes I was interested in but couldn’t particularly find what I was exactly looking for. Through my researching, I decided to become a baby planner (my background is in event planning) and assist other families who were on their pregnancy journey. Thus, Baby Dreams Maternity Concierge was born!
As I read and researched more, I learned about our medical system and the lack of informed consent, respect, and advocacy women weren’t receiving during their pregnancies and birth. I decided to become a birth and postpartum doula while pregnant with my second child. I became a childbirth educator a few years later and shortly after that an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. I attended a Spinning Babies® workshop and fell in love with the techniques and I became a Certified Parent Educator within the same year!
In these past years, I have learned and experienced so many valuable teachings. I have trained and certified with the best professionals in the birth industry. I am glad to be able to share and help women make sound and beneficial decisions not only for themselves, but for their babies. I have also made the decision to become a Certified Professional Midwife and am currently half way complete with my program.
I am honored every time someone asks me questions to inform themselves or educate others. I am privileged to be a part of families birth teams and welcoming the arrival of their newest family member. I am blessed to be in a community where I can be a shining light for Jesus and help bring about a change for the positive.
